Ingredients:
500gr red onion (Tropea onion) 300gr bred dough 50gr butter Olive oil Sugar Salt
Preparation:
Slice onions and lightly fry with butter for 1 hour, using very low heat.
Knead a bit of water with bred dough to make a long roll. Place it over a greased oven pan making a round with 15-20cm diameter. The internal hole must be as big as possible.
Cover bred surface with onion mixture, spread sugar and cook in 190°C oven for 30 minutes.
Serve immediately.
