Ingredients for 4 servings:
250gr stale homemade bread
1,25lt broth
600gr pitted and peeled fresh tomatoes
2 cloves garlic
Olive oil
Some basil and sage leaves
Grated parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper
Preparation:
In a medium-pan arrange sliced bread, cover with chopped tomatoes, sage and basil leaves and garlic.
Season with oil, salt and pepper. Mix well and cook.
After few minutes add hot broth and continue to cook for 30 minutes.
Serve Pappa with grated parmesan cheese.
