First course Recipes - Rice
Rice with peas

Ingredients for 4 servings:
400gr tender peas
300gr rice
1,5lt hot broth
50gr butter
Olive oil
50gr minced bacon
1/2 minced onion
Minced parsley
Grated parmesan cheese

Preparation:
In a medium-pan melt 20gr butter, add oil and sear bacon, onion and parsley.

When onion looks brown add peas, cook for 10 minutes using low heat. Add broth, when boils pour rice. Cook till tender and stir often.

At end of cook rice and peas should look like a thick supper.
Add salt and stir with remaining butter and grated parmesan cheese.
