Main dishes Recipes - Red meat
Miroton

Ingredients for 4 servings:
400gr beef
200gr rice
60gr butter
Dry white wine
2 salted anchovies
2 onions
Some parsley
4 small minced gherkin
Salt

Preparation:
Boil beef and than cool.
Boil rice, drain at half of cook.

In a medium pan melt 50gr butter, add one minced onion and brown using low heat. Add washed and dressed anchovies, mash all well.

Add gherkin and minced parsley, pour some wine and let reduce.
With remaining butter grease an oven pan, arrange one layer rice to cover all bottom.
Slice meat and season with vegetables sauce and anchovies. Arrange over rice layer.

Cover all with a second layer of rice, pour one glass wine over rice. Bake in 200gr oven and cook for 15 minutes.
