Ingredients for 6 servings:
400gr minced beef meat
200gr minced pork meat
150gr stale crumb bread
2 whole eggs
100gr grated parmesan cheese
Parsley
1 minced clove garlic
10gr butter
100gr raisin and pine kernel
500gr blanched fresh tomatoes, peeled
2tbs tomato paste
1 small onion
Olive oil
Frying oil
Salt and pepper
Preparation:
Wet bread, squeeze well and combine with minced meats, parsley and minced garlic.
Add eggs, a pinch salt and pepper, butter, raisin, pine kernels, stir well till mixture is uniform.
With this mixture shape small rolls, fry in abundant frying oil and when the surface is crusty drain and set aside.
In the meantime in a medium pan prepare the sauce: pour peeled tomatoes, tomato paste, sliced onion, salt and pepper, 40gr oil.
Arrange meat rolls in the sauce and cook for 10 minutes.
Serve with chips or fresh green salad.
