Desserts Recipes - Tea cakes, biscuits
Amaretto

Ingredients:
120gr sweet almonds
80gr bitter almonds
200gr sugar
Powdered sugar
Various egg whites
Few butter and flour

Preparation:
Blanch almonds, peel them and set in lukewarm oven for 20 minutes to dry.
Crush gently almonds in a mortar, combining with powdered sugar.

Sieve all and add egg whites, stir well for 10 minutes till consistency is not too firm but not too soft.

Pour mixture in pipe bag made by cloth or oven paper and on a greased and floured pan arrange small parties, well separated one from the other.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar and set aside for few hours.
Than bake in preheated oven, 170°C for 30 minutes.
