Ingredients for 6 servings:
200gr stale bread
3 whole eggs
3/4 lt milk
3tbs sugar
2tbs grated parmesan cheese
100gr raisin
50gr pine kernels
1 dose saffron
butter
salt

Preparation:
In a medium mixing bowl dice bread and dip it in lukewarm milk for some hours. Than process everything with a potato masher
Add to mixture parmesan, eggs, saffron, sugar, raisins -dipped in warm water, drained and dried, pine kernels, salt and mix very well all ingredients.
Grease with butter a 24cm diameter oven pan, sprinkle with grated bread and pour mixture in. bake in 230°C preheated oven for about one hour.
When cake surface look gold remove from oven and cool on rack.
